Literal Bible against all these feud mentalists of the fundamentalists.

Against the bad mathematics to add non-biblical words to the Bible like millennium, rapture, and dispensationalism of current notable Scofield followers like Swaggart with his Expositors Bible, Tim LeHaye (another DTS graduate) with his Left Behind fiction based on fiction, Dr. Jeffress (another DTS graduate) from his large pulpit at FBC Dallas, Lifeway Bookstore of the SBC which has become a den of thieves with Scofield Reference Bibles including the new one with Scofield’s image on it…that is to say AGAINST these formidable in influence Philistines, it is like little David standing with only a sling shot against the giant of the Philistines; only now it is the sling and stone of the Literal Bible against all these feud mentalists of the fundamentalists.

However for the sincere and independent of the powerful SBC Bible searcher, just this one simple statement by Randy Alcorn makes a lot more sense, and it tugs at the heart of Bible reality:

Some theologians reduce Daniel 7 to a promise that God’s saints will reign with Christ during the Millennium. But the text couldn’t be clearer—it says “for ever and ever,” not a thousand years. Many other passages also affirm an earthly reign that will last forever (e.g., Joshua 14:9; 2 Samuel 7:16; Isaiah 34:17; 60:21; Jeremiah17:25; Micah 4:7; Revelation 22:5). The angel Gabriel told Mary that Christ “will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end” (Luke1:33). Regardless of whether one believes in a literal Millennium, passages such as the ones cited here shouldn’t be understood as millennial references. They refer instead to an everlasting Kingdom.

  1. sorry Scofield mites there is absolutely no mere one thousand years in Daniel 7, and a noticeable absence of any millennium in the Literal Bible. You will not find it here or any place in the Bible.  It is not a Bible word.

“I was watching in the night visions,

And behold, One like the Son of Man,

Coming with the clouds of heaven!

He came to the Ancient of Days,

And they brought Him near before Him.

14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,

That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.

His dominion is an everlasting dominion,

Which shall not pass away,

And His kingdom the one

Which shall not be destroyed.”  (Daniel 7:13,14)

  1. Joshua 14:9 in the Literal Bible.

And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the Lord my God.”  (Joshua 14:9 KJV)

True the Scofield mites, especially of the DTS graduates entrenched in the SBC after the ten year Warfare and Takeover of the SBC try to practice the bad mathematics of subtraction with a lie that the word “forever” or “for ever” does not mean forever or eternal.  Sorry Scofield mites, we must call a spade and spade and you among the Protestant great apostasy of the Falling Away like that of the Roman Vatican around 1000 A.D. have become victims to the “seducing spirits and doctrines of devils” (I Timothy 4:14,15)

Try going back to Daniel 7 and verses 26 and 27 if you think you can do mental gymnastics of the perversion of literal Bible with forever, try on for size the word everlasting and see what you can do with that.  (Surely that great debater at FBC Dallas will have an answer, as he and his fellow graduates and faculty at DTS just think they need to say it and agree with each other and it is so.  WRONG.  You Scofield mites fooled the SBC in your 10 year plan for takeover by warfare with false claims of a literal Bible, try the real Literal Bible on for size in these two verses for Daniel 7:26,27.

“‘But the court shall be seated,

And they shall take away his dominion,

To consume and destroy it forever.

Then the kingdom and dominion,

And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,

Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.

His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,

And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’

As the Scofield mites are too far gone in the Protestant Falling Away, the appeal must be to others, the sincere seekers after Bible truth in the Literal Bible., specifically notice the same kingdom in just two verses is referred to as everlasting and forever.

  1. 2 Samuel 7:16 in the Literal Bible.

“And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.”

Commentators before Darby and Scofield did not rationalize with bad mathematics of hermeneutics, without laboring the points they wrote like Matthew Henry–

Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary

7:4-17 Blessings are promised to the family and posterity of David. These promises relate to Solomon, David’s immediate successor, and the royal line of Judah. But they also relate to Christ, who is often called David and the Son of David. To him God gave all power in heaven and earth, with authority to execute judgment. He was to build the gospel temple, a house for God’s name; the spiritual temple of true believers, to be a habitation of God through the Spirit. The establishing of his house, his throne, and his kingdom for ever, can be applied to no other than to Christ and his kingdom: David’s house and kingdom long since came to an end. The committing iniquity cannot be applied to the Messiah himself, but to his spiritual seed; true believers have infirmities, for which they must expect to be corrected, though they are not cast off.

Note:  “Matthew Henry (18 October 1662 – 22 June 1714) was a Nonconformist minister and author, born in Wales but spending much of his life in England.”

Darby and Scofield came later.

John Nelson Darby (18 November 1800 – 29 April 1882) was an Anglo-Irish Bible teacher, one of the influential figures among the original Plymouth Brethren and the founder of the Exclusive Brethren. He is considered to be the father of modern Dispensationalism and Futurism. Pre-tribulation rapture theology was popularized extensively in the 1830s by John Nelson Darby and the Plymouth Brethren,[1] and further popularized in the United States in the early 20th century by the wide circulation of the Scofield Reference Bible.

We must honestly ask ourselves how could in only the years between 1882 and 2018, only 36 years, could the SRB come to so dominant the SBC except for the help of Satan and the great apostasy of the Falling Away.  While it may seem strange that the Roman Vatican started their great apostasy of the Falling Away around 1,000 A.D. and it took the SBC until the 21st century with the help of men like Criswell, Rogers, and Stanley destroying the careers and reputations of better Christians than themselves under the disguise of a false Literalism.  (Really protecting their SRBs.)  All the Vatican did was (1) forbid priests to marry {the NT one thousand years before had commanded that pastors be the husband of one wife}, and (2) command to abstain from meats that God has blessed. The SBC Scofield mites did one better they either destroyed or attempted to destroy the careers and reputations of non-Scofield believers, making it difficult to both make a living and to support their families.  {So sad, and they did it under the disguise of literalism.}

  1. Isaiah 34:17.

“And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.”

Here termites, you can equate the Bible promises of the for ever kingdom with from generation to generation without end.

  1. Isaiah 60:21.

Isaiah 60:21-22 King James Version (KJV)

21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.

The saved people of the everlasting kingdom, and a little one shall become a millennium and more.

  1. Jeremiah17:24,25.

“And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the Lord, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;  Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever.”

While Scofield mites want first a kingdom for the Zealots to rule, something Jesus always refused, and get not get it through their heads, or will not, like Paul wrote in the book of Israel the major thesis of the new Israel is Jews and Gentiles, here for ever with the Gentiles are the saved Jews in the New Jerusalem.  Notice the city is forever not one thousand years!

  1. Micah 4:1-7 King James Version (KJV)

“But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken it.

5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever.

6 In that day, saith the Lord, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;

7 And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the Lord shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.”

  1. Revelation 22:5.

Revelation 22:5 King James Version (KJV)

“And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.”

What can this bad Scofield mite mathematicians in their bad hermeneutics of addition and subtraction do with this Christ has come, the new Jerusalem has been lowered down from heaven, God has eternally come to dwell with men; and furthermore this is the real and literal “for ever and ever”.
