The Real War

Secular sociologist and psychologists will find it very difficult to deal with
Muslims and radical Muslims for their lack of Bible convictions about the Real
War.  And the growing toleration of unsound Bible doctrine, called the Falling
Away in the Bible, will blind their eyes increasingly to spiritual realities and
manifest themselves daily in material criminal behavior.  You just can not deal
with these problems when you think man is born inherent good.

Preface to the real warfare--

"To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly
places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our
Lord...(Ephesians 3:10,11 KJV)

"Principalities and powers"  have two universal spheres of operation as
evidenced here in Eph 3:10, 11 and Eph 6:11,12:  (1)  the good principalities
and powers in heaven, the place of abode of the Father and the Lord Jesus
Christ, and all the legions of good angels; and (2) the bad principalities and
powers in equally high places of Satan and his legions of bad and fallen
angels.

EPHESIANS 6:11,12

"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against
the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness
of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Things that are obvious with a preliminary exegesis of Ephesians 6:11,12

1.  For the person that is operating consistent with the purpose of God
through Christ in the Universe, a purpose that was clearly made known
previously in Ephesians, and the discussion of which will come later, the real
battle in the world, all over the world, where God has His humans made in His
image, is with the smart strategies and tactics of Satan and the other fallen
angels.  {Also preliminarily let it be said that angels, good and bad, are very
powerful and exist in the spirit atmosphere in high places, competing with God
and Christ and the Holy Spirit with "principalities and powers" in high places
contrasted to the heavenly places of the Trinity.

(1).  Muslims are especially susceptible to Satan's device as they grow up
worshipping Satan, as does anyone that does not worship the Father of the
Lord Jesus Christ.  The exception of social and cultural Muslims is that there
culture encourages, sometimes forcefully, the worship of Satan.  If as
Churchill said, "When Islam gets inside a man, he becomes a mad dog", the
secular world can not and will not admit this or the reality that this is Satan
getting a hold of them, leading to murder, suicide, rape, lack of respect for
others, lies, and all violations of the 10 commandments of God.

(2). Ephesians 6:11-12 in the New International Version (NIV)

"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the
devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but
against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

2.  Obviously the keys to understanding of Ephesians 6:11,12 is the
understanding of the 3 phrases of (1) principalities, (2) powers, and (3)
spiritual wickedness in high places; since it is simple to understand that the
struggle or warfare is not against flesh and blood.

  (2)  John Wesley on  Ephesians 6:12

For our wrestling is not only, not chiefly, against flesh and blood - Weak men,
or fleshly appetites. But against principalities, against powers - The mighty
princes of all the infernal legions. And great is their power, and that likewise
of those legions whom they command. Against the rulers of the world -
Perhaps these principalities and powers remain mostly in the citadel of their
kingdom of darkness. But there are other evil spirits who range abroad, to
whom the provinces of the world are committed. Of the darkness - This is
chiefly spiritual darkness. Of this age - Which prevails during the present
state of things. Against wicked spirits - Who continually oppose faith, love,
holiness, either by force or fraud; and labour to infuse unbelief, pride, idolatry
malice, envy, anger, hatred. In heavenly places - Which were once their
abode, and which they still aspire to, as far as they are permitted.

  (3)  To the extent that it gets personal against other people secondarily--
Satan and his many cohorts are prime--it is a COMMON PROBLEM of all
humanity against our own corrupt nature.  Boy, what a struggle the secular
sociologists have with human nature as inherently corrupt by birth and nature;
and do you think there is ever really any hope for them apart from Christ.

From Matthew Henry commentary on Ephesians 6:11,12

The combat is not against human enemies, nor against our own corrupt
nature only; we have to do with an enemy who has a thousand ways of
beguiling unstable souls. The devils assault us in the things that belong to
our souls, and labour to deface the heavenly image in our hearts. We must
resolve by God's grace, not to yield to Satan. Resist him, and he will flee. If
we give way, he will get ground. If we distrust either our cause, or our Leader,
or our armour, we give him advantage.

3.  Who, stated simply, are the  "the rulers of the darkness of this world" for
obviously with the mention of this world it gets the battle into the real world
with a real battle.  Or stated another way, is there a relationship between the
forbidden "of the world" in numerous scriptures; and therefore does that lend
weight to the commentators in state "the war is not against flesh and blood
only", implying that although the great war is in high places, a lesser war may
be against some flesh and blood.  {Of course, recall this is a COMMON
HUMAN PROBLEM.}

  (1)  This is implied in the Christian experience of those who have fought the
battles before us, like the writer of the hymn,
"This world is not my friend to
lead me on to God; sure, I must fight if I were to win.  Increase my courage,
Lord."

"What are "Principalities, Powers, World Rulers of Darkness, and Spiritual
Wickedness in High Places"?
The Apostle Paul instructs us to put on our spiritual armour because our
battle in this world is a "spiritual" one. A warfare that involves the trickery and
power of the devil, as opposed to a human battle. Even though human
beings will certainly play a role in line with the schemes of the devil, but they
are being used by these entities for the purposes of accomplishing evil. Evil
spirits are the true power behind those who oppose the things of God
(knowingly or unknowingly). We read,
Eph 6:12: For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the
principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness,
against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

  (3)  BC on Principalities.

Our Spiritual Warfare is Against "Principalities"
The concept of principalities is understood by the Greek word arche
meaning chief or ruler. These principalities are ruling devil spirits possessing
executive authority or governmental rule in the world.  As we will see, this
ruling power usually involves a particular nation, people or race. There are
evil angels ruling the kingdoms of the world that oppose the truth of God, and
of which Satan is the chief prince or ruler, of both the world system and its
organization of demons, as noted in the gospel of Matthew.

In Matthew 12:24, the devil is called "Beelzebub" meaning lord of the
dwelling, in which these wicked spirits are subject to and operate under
Satan's dominion. They, like their chief prince, direct, control, rule and carry
out the present darkness of this world.

The American Heritage Dictionary defines principalities as:
1. A territory ruled by a prince or from which a prince derives his title.
2. The position, authority, or jurisdiction of a prince; sovereignty.
The idea of prince devil spirits ruling or controlling a region is supported in
the Old Testament book of Daniel, chapter 10.  Daniel is visited by an angel
in response to his prayer to God. This angel, who was sent by God to answer
Daniel's prayer, was delayed for 21 days because of a battle that took place
between God's angel and "a prince of the kingdom of Persia."Daniel reveals
the angel's message in the following verses:
Dan 10:12-13
"Then said he [the angel] unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day
that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten [humble] thyself
before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the
prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo,
Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with
the kings of Persia."

As signs in the world news increase on violence, rape, murder and suicide,
how long will it take Americans in all intellectual honesty to look a the source in
Islam, Allah, Mohammed, and the Koran!  Really, do you think these sources
have nothing to do with this evil in spite of the fact that these criminals say
they do, and refer to them often!

Maybe Radical Islam; however it is also obvious that Islam and Radical Islam
have the same sources and roots!
